Blackhawks Post-game One-timers — Dec. 15 vs. Vegas Golden Knights

  

The Chicago Blackhawks lost their fifth game in a row on Thursday night to the Vegas Golden Knights. The Hawks have now lost 13 of their last 14 (1–12–1) games. Arvid Soderblom made 21 of 24 saves in the loss and continues to be a bright spot for the Hawks this season.

— Special teams let the Blackhawks down in this contest. Chandler Stephenson scored the game’s first goal on the power play in the first period. In the second period, Reilly Smith extended the lead with a shorthanded goal. In the third period, Phil Kessel scored to make the game 3–0 Vegas.

— The Blackhawks’ lone goal came from Taylor Raddysh on an assist from the rejuvenated Jonathan Toews.

— Smith would add another goal in the third period to make the final score 4–1 Vegas.

The Blackhawks get back at it on Friday against the Minnesota Wild at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota, at 7 p.m. CST.
