Gus is pretty bad to mediocre at best at actual Defense, but he isnt bad pushing the play as a 4th forward type of D Man.

But Keith is a shell of himself.  Keith looks like he retired 2 years ago, at least mentally.  He is slow to pucks (than he ever used to be) gets beat, manhandled along the boards, gives up the puck, and Henry Jokiharju is outplaying him most nights, sometimes carrying him.  Henry gets the puck and goes right up the ice.  Teams are double teaming Keith as they can smell blood in the water now.  He isnt effective enough.

    Manning blows chunks.

Davidson isnt terrible as a 6/7th guy.  He can skate, at least.

Seabrook was awful last night in Vancouver.  Took penalties because he couldnt get to the spot fast enough.  They need Forsling and Murphy to inject some youth and power back into the D corps.  And then they need to trade Keith for whatever they can get.  Keith isnt helping this team because this team isnt winning jack squat this year or next. Trade him for the future.  Trade him before it is generally known that he is done and over.
