Well said. We are entering into a stretch where cap hell of 2-3 yrs ago was heaven. Saddled with contracts signed pre Covid with no way out of them and now a flat cap for possibly a 2+ yrs while having to fill out a roster. Brutal, just brutal.
So yes, players like Suter who come cheap and can fill a roll on an NHL roster are a must and worth their weight in gold.
Kid shows what you wanna see in a young prospect. Played in the Hlinka tournament and 3 WJC’s shows he’s always had talent and was highly thought of.
What caught my eye on film was most of his goals come from 10 ft in, ain’t scared of the slot, wins races and pucks. …………… Bring him, maybe he can help.
