Hey Mario, what’s up with Delia?  Those are some poor numbers.   Any thought on Lankanin, his numbers look good.  Tomkins is with the Hogs too.  They have 3 goalies on the roster?

Any thoughts on Soderlund and Beaudin?

Delia’s a mixture of poor hands dealt to him with the team on the PK, and some sub-par play. I have faith he’ll figure it out. Lankinen has been good, when he’s been in. He missed his last start due to illness and Tomkins played vs the Wolves. Tomkins has been good against the Wolves in two of his three starts this year. King is rotating three healthy goalies and from what they have said about it, all seems well. I think they are trying to get Tomkins AHL time since he A) deserves it B) doesn’t want to get thrown into the fire if Delia or Lankinen were to be recalled given an injury to Crawford or Lehner. Soderlund has been just ‘OK’ so far, but he’s looking more comfortable as they season has progressed. Got his first point against Chicago. Beaudin has been in and out of the lineup, but has been steady when he’s in. Steady, but not overly impressive.

Thank you, Mario.  Your coverage of the Hogs is so so helpful and as the pipeline is getting stronger with more on the way your analysis is really helpful.

I’m a Soderlund guy.   Saw him at the World Junior Summer Showcase in Plymouth, MI and been a fan since, even before then from the WJC on tv.  Seeing him live in MI was really impressed with his speed and hair on fire forecheck.  Thought he could develop into a 1st rate bottom 6 guy with his disruptive +speed and north south mentality.  ……. Maybe a less skilled and faster Kubalik?

Always interesting to see a coach handle 3 goalies on the roster.  Most goalies need minutes to get into a rythem and was curious if that was affecting Delia.

Anyway love your coverage and thanks for responding.
