The St Louis game (loss) and this game (OT loss) were due to an inept PP. The Hawks had multiple man advantages in both games when the score was close (3-2 in STL) and tied (last night) and couldn’t convert. Special teams cost them 1 or 2 points for sure over the weekend. Talbot played well for sure, but how many points are they going to give away before something changes on special teams? These points can make the last 15 games of the season more about position in the playoffs as opposed to if they make the playoffs. A couple of good teams missed by a point last year, it would be a shame to waste a comeback year by Toews, Crow, Keith, and Seabs.
