Thank you and Happy New Years, Rinkrats

As 2017 comes to a close, and we all wax nostalgic, you can look back on a very strange year either with anger and disdain or try to focus on the positives. It might come as a shock to those familiar with me, but I look back on 2017 as a huge positive stepping stone in my hockey media career. With the help of John Jaeckel, and the entire team behind The Rink, we are growing to heights that I could not previously imagine.

Puckin Hostile will always be a large part of my DNA but in the words of Lou Holtz, “In this world you’re either growing or you’re dying, so get in motion and grow.

At The Rink, we’re growing leaps and bounds every day and I am extremely proud of what we have accomplished.

I could rattle off a list of names that I’m thankful to call friends and family but I would, no doubt, leave someone deserving out.  For a long time, I thought I could do it alone, but the team we are assembling has made it clear that if you surround yourself with talented, like-minded people, anything is possible.

With that being said, I want to humbly thank all of you for continuously reading our stuff, listening to our podcasts, and coming back to the website I have poured an enormous part of my heart into these last few months. From the bottom of my angry, sarcastic, black heart I want to express my most sincere gratitude.

I promise to keep pushing boundaries to bring great, unique hockey content in this coming year for you all to enjoy.  We can’t do this without the support of the readers and listeners. Without you, we are just a group of guys shouting at the clouds.

Thank you and Happy New Years, RinkratsFrom The-Rink.com we wish all of you and your families a happy and safe New Years
