The Blackhawks announced this morning that they have signed 24 year old center/left wing Jacob Nilsson to a one-year entry level deal.
The 5’11”, 180lbs left-handed Swedish born forward tallied 18 points (8g,10a) for Mora IK of the Swedish Hockey League, which was good for fourth on the team. In his previous two years, he put up 61 points (29g,32a) in 93 regular-season games. His career highs in goals (20) and assists (22) were registered during the 2016-17 season, when he played for current Rockford Icehogs coach Jeremy Colliton.
