The Blackhawks announced this morning that they had recalled Swedish center/wing Victor Ejdsell from Rockford, on an emergency basis.
The Blackhawks were limited to one more standard call up for the rest of the season, per the CBA, but can call up players on an emergency (injury) basis.
Ejdsell registered his first, and only, AHL assist in his first game since being loaned to the Rockford Icehogs on March 23rd. This latest stretch of AHL games are following the end of his season for HV71 of the Swedish Elite League.
