We hope you all had a safe and happy holiday season! So much has happened in the last few weeks, and we are back to give you all the Seattle Kraken news.

Forward Brandon Tanev underwent successful surgery on his injured knee. He will miss the remainder of the 2021–22 season, but should make a full recovery for the 2022–23 season.

Forward Jaden Schwartz will undergo hand surgery and will miss 4–6 weeks. He is expected to make a full recovery.

Goaltender Joey Daccord and forward Kole Lind were temporarily assigned to the Kraken taxi squad, but then officially sent back to the Charlotte Checkers of the AHL.

Games vs. the New York Islanders, Ottawa Senators and Winnipeg Jets were all postponed due to COVID-19 concerns. The next Kraken game is Monday in Denver against the Colorado Avalanche. Puck drop is scheduled for 6 p.m. PST.
