One of the best times of the summer, Blackhawks Prospect Development Camp is around the corner. On Tuesday, the organization released their camp roster for the week-long, open-to-the-public showcase of the future talent in the system. This summer’s roster includes 36 players made up of 19 forwards, 11 defensemen and six goalies, with six players invited that are not draft picks or under contract by the Blackhawks or IceHogs organizations.

Here is the 2019 summer camp roster:

Jumping off the page for this summer are 2018 first round draft picks Adam Boqvist and Nicolas Beaudin, making their second trips to development camp. The rest of the 2018 draft class will also be in attendance, as will the entire 2019 draft class, including third overall pick Kirby Dach and Wilmette, Illinois, native Alex Vlasic. Other players to highlight are forwards Mackenzie Entwistle, Brandon Hagel, Philipp Kurashev and Tim Soderlund, along with defensemen Ian Mitchell, Josh Ess and Chad Krys. Krys will be making his fourth appearance at Blackhawks Prospect Development camp since being drafted in the second round of the 2016 draft.

Evan Barratt, Niklas Nordgren and Dominik Kubalik will all be off-ice participants for camp.

Finally in net, Alexis Gravel and Dominic Basse are the only two drafted prospects at camp this summer, with four unsigned invitees coming to camp next week. Basse was selected in the sixth round of the 2019 draft, while Gravel was also selected in the sixth round, having led the Halifax Mooseheads to the QMJHL Finals and Memorial Cup Final this spring in the CHL.
