Blackhawks Release 2019-20 Season Opening European Trip Details

  

This morning, the Blackhawks released the dates and ticket details for their 2019-20 season opening trip to Europe.  It was also announced that they will play a preseason game against a Deutsche Eishockey Liga team, as well.

Blackhawks and Philadelphia Flyers will both complete their training camps in Europe and will each play in an exhibition match as part of the 2019 NHL Global Series Challenge, and will play their 2019-20 season-opening game in Prague of the Czech Republic on Friday, Oct. 4 at the O2 Arena.

Prior to the season opener, the Blackhawks will travel to Berlin, Germany and play a preseason exhibition game against Eisbären Berlin on Sunday, Sept. 29, at the Mercedes-Benz Arena.  Details for attending the games are as follows:

  • Tickets to all games will be available for purchase on Wednesday, March 27 at 9 am CET.  Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.
  • Tickets and VIP hospitality packages to the Sept. 29 game between the Blackhawks and Eisbären Berlin at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, Germany, will go on sale at 9 am CET on Wednesday, March 27 at www.eisbaeren.de/NHL.
  • Tickets and VIP hospitality packages to the Oct. 4 game between the Blackhawks and Flyers and at the O2 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic will go on sale at 9 am CET on Wednesday, March 27 at www.livenation.cz.
