SUMMARY:

This is a game that used to mean more than a badly needed two points for the Blackhawks. But with the Wings now a bottom-deeding team in the Eastern Conference, not quite s much. Still, with the likes of Justin Abdelkader and Niklas Kronwall on the ice, there’s sure to be some lingering bad blood. And, the Wings have enough firepower upfront to present the Hawks with some problems.

We’ll recap later today or  tonight. Join the conversation below!

The do look like shit. Making the puck look like a hand grenade, and Glass doesn’t have it.

They weren’t really Glass’ fault but he didn’t help either

True. Thought he could’ve shut that pass down on the 2nd one, and was pretty slow getting over on the first. Either way would’ve been 2 real tough saves.

It’s almost comical how bad the PP is at this point. It would be huge if they were any kind of PP threat.

Some marketing intern is going to see the Shitshow Petroleum PP and call a plastic shithouse company to be a sponsor.

Growing very sick of the Nick Schmaltz reach out with his stick but not actually using his body to try and get a loose puck. So soft!!

Agreed – looks like he’s a) worried about taking too much contact and b) focusing on trying to be too quick, both of which usually end up in possession for the other team.

Larkin was Schmaltz’ responsibility on the first goal.

    Apparently, all goalies are Vikings

Maybe the Hawks thought it was a 1:00 puck drop ….

Also, Glass should have had a chance on both goals.

    Apparently, all goalies are Vikings
