Im not buying Tavares either.  He is a great player that I feel is overrated.  Maybe it comes from playing on crap ass Islanders teams, but I just dont get all the hype.  He is very good.  But…not sure he makes any difference on the Leafs when their blue line sucks more gas than the local emo teens buying whipped cream cannisters at Da Jewelz.

And I think the Hawks bounce back and the Wild plummet.   Hawks should end up in 4th place if Crawford is healthy and they make no other moves.  Id go get Duchene if Crawford looks healthy and is playing.  If not, I go get Bobrovsky.

Not living in Chicago any more makes me nostalgic for everything being made possessive and plural.  Cub Foods was Cubs’s.  Jewel Food Store is Jewels’s.   Yous guys’s.  I miss that.
